Women’s golf ends season at Big Ten Championships

After a six-over par score of 294 in Sunday’s final round, Penn State ended its season in eighth place at the Big Ten Championships hosted by The Fort Golf Resort.

The Nittany Lions posted a three-day score of 870, good for six-over par on the tournament.

Lauren Waller and Jackie Rogowicz guided Penn State on Sunday, both shooting one-over par. It gave Waller a score of three-under par for the tournament, finishing tied for ninth overall. It’s Waller’s third top-10 finish of the season.

Cara Basso and Ariana Coyle Diez finished seven and six-over par on the weekend. Penn State seniors Grace Chung and Halley Morell capped their collegiate careers with six- and two-over performances, respectively, on the day.

Ohio State and Northwestern were Big Ten co-champions with team scores of 12-under par.
