Competing in his first-ever triathlon on Saturday, Nick Adcock qualified for the 2016 USA Paratriathlon National Championships, hosted in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Adcock came in second in Lewisberry, finishing the triathlon in 1:50.00. With the result, Adcock earned a spot on the U.S. paralympic development team.
At Widener University, a pair of Penn Staters competed at the Mid-Atlantic Association Meet.
Max Rohn threw a lifetime-best 47-85 in the javelin, earning a first-place finish. Eric Doty came in second with a 39-23.

Rohn and Doty went 1-2 in the discus, too, with throws of 49-98 and 41-29, respectively.
