Penn State’s Max Rohn and Erik Doty posted top-four finishes in the discus in the final day of competition at the U.S. Paralympic Trials at the Irwin Belk Complex at Johnson C. Smith University.
Rohn posted a top throw of 164 feet, 7 inches (50.17 meters) for third, while Doty recorded a throw of 137-8 3/4 (41.98 meters) for fourth.
On the track, Brett Gravatt was seventh in the 1,500 meters wheelchair race in 3:48.13 and fifth in the 400 in a personal-best 54.71. Nick Adcock was seventh in the 400 in 1:06.81.
In the pool, Sean Brame turned in a time of 1 minute, 34.17 seconds in the 100-meter freestyle to finish fourth.
The U.S. team for the Paralympics in Brazil will be announced Sunday.
