Saint Mary’s freshman Cameron Neff dominated Penn State, firing a two-hitter to down the Nittany Lions 4-0 on Saturday.
Neff struck out 10 and walked just one in his gem. J.J. White’s double and Steve Snyder’s single were the only hits the Nittany Lions (3-8) could muster.
T.J. Jann (0-3) pitched well, but took the loss. Jann allowed seven hits and three runs over six innings. Jann, who has a 3.18 ERA, struck out four and walked one.
Michael Valentin’s RBI triple paced the eight-hit attack for the Gaels (7-7).
