The Penn State baseball team extended its winning streak to four games with a 7-2 and 4-3 sweep of Bucknell on Saturday at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
In the opener, Led by three hits each from Greg Guers and Taylor Skerpon, the Nittany Lions (9-12) pounded out 15 hits.
With the score tied at 2-2, Penn State took the lead for good with a three-run third. Guers delivered the key blow with a two-run triple and Skerpon followed with an RBI single.
TJ Jann got his first win of the season, allowing just two unearned runs in five innings. Jann (1-4) allowed four hits, three walks and struck out six.

Ian Parvin was dominant in relief as he picked up his first save. In four innings, Parvin did not allow a hit, walked one and struck out seven.
Penn State held on in the seven-inning nightcap. Leading 2-1, the Nittany Lions got two runs in the fourth without a hit. After a walk, error and sacrifice bunt, the Niattny Lions scored on a passed ball and a sacrifice fly.
James Coates, who drove in two runs, Steve Snyder and Tyler Kendall had two hits each for Penn State. Tim Dunn allowed one run and struck out two in five innings to earn the win.
The two teams play at Bucknell (7-10-1) on Sunday.
