Penn State basketball: Nittany Lions land verbal commitment from 2016 guard

Penn State has received a verbal commitment from 2016 shooting guard Nazeer Bostick.

Bostick, a 6-foot-5 guard at Roman Catholic, announced his commitment Thursday night on Twitter.

“I am truly blessed to announce that I have committed to Penn State University #WeAre #Penn State #Big10,” he tweeted.

Bostick is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports. He helped Roman Catholic beat Martin Luther King 62-45 to win the PIAA Class AAAA championship this year.

Bostick is Penn State’s first commit in the Class of 2016. Joe Hampton, a 2016 forward from Oak Hill Academy, decommitted from Penn State in March.
