The Perkasie native — who chose Penn State over Pittsburgh, Maryland, Michigan State, Louisville and Rutgers — brings the Nittany Lions’ 2018 class to 11 members. He’s the third linebacker of the group, joining Cumberland Valley’s Charlie Katshir and Mercyhurst Prep’s Jesse Luketa.
Tarburton’s commitment continues the noteworthy roll James Franklin and his staff are on the recruiting trail. He’s the fourth verbal commitment since last Thursday (Katshir, Luketa, five-star running back Ricky Slade).
