Kick times, TV networks set for Penn State’s last games of the regular season
The kick times and broadcast networks have been set for Penn State football’s final games of the regular season.
First up is Saturday’s matchup with Nebraska at Beaver Stadium, which will take place at 7 p.m. and will be televised by NBC. The game also marks Senior Day and will honor seniors like Dani Dennis-Sutton, Kaytron Allen, Nick Singleton, Zakee Wheatley and many more.
Penn State is on the road against Rutgers on Nov. 29 for the last game of the regular season. That game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and the game will air on the Big Ten Network, the Big Ten announced Monday.
The Nittany Lions must win both games to be bowl eligible. They head into Saturday’s game after snapping their six-game losing streak by beating Michigan State, 28-10, in Spartan Stadium. They’re now 4-6 on the season with a 1-6 conference record, and look to add more Big Ten wins in the next two weeks.
Nebraska — which is led by former Nittany Lion Matt Rhule — will enter Beaver Stadium with their own backup quarterback now starting after Dylan Raiola suffered a season-ending injury. TJ Lateef took over the role and led the Cornhuskers to a win over UCLA. They’re coming off a bye week after the win over the Bruins and are currently 7-3.
Rutgers, meanwhile, will likely be fighting for bowl eligibility in that game. The Scarlet Knights are 5-5 with their next matchup coming against No. 1 Ohio State.
