Penn State linebacker Mike Hull and safety Adrian Amos accepted invitations to the 66th Reese’s Senior Bowl on Monday.
The nation’s premier college football all-star game will be played Jan. 24 in Mobile, Ala. The pair are the 29th and 30th Nittany Lions selected for the game in the last 15 years, and give the program 110 participants all time.
The duo have been instrumental in helping the team to top-10 national defensive rankings in rushing yards, total yards and scoring.
Hull has led Penn State in tackles in eight games this season, and leads the Big Ten and is 11th nationally averaging 11.0 tackles per game. He has 99 total tackles, 56 solo stops and 8 1/2 tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks. He also has forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, intercepted a pass and broken up two more passes.
Amos has 24 tackles including 16 solo stops and is tied for the team lead with two interceptions. He also has one tackle for loss and four pass break-ups, which is tied for the team lead.
