Coach James Franklin and his staff will host high school and middle school coaches for the Penn State Football Spring Chalk Talk on March 20 and 21.
The clinic will feature two days of lectures and demonstrations by the Nittany Lions’ staff, led by Franklin, who is in his second season as Penn State’s head coach. The Chalk Talk will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, with final registration starting at 3 p.m. in Holuba Hall. Walk-up registration is permitted. Franklin, defensive coordinator Bob Shoop and offensive coordinator John Donovan will make presentations to attendees.
Attendees will have an opportunity to observe the Nittany Lions’ first two spring practices and attend positional talks with the Penn State offensive and defensive coaching staffs. The event costs $20 per person and includes instruction, clinic materials and Friday’s dinner and social.
