The Penn State football team’s home opener will kick off at noon.
The university announced the kick time Friday morning for the Nittany Lions’ Sept. 5 game against Buffalo at Beaver Stadium. The game will be shown on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
It is the fourth start time announced for Penn State’s 2015 schedule. The Nittany Lions will host Rutgers at 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network on Sept. 19, and Indiana on Oct. 10 at noon. Additionally, the Penn State at Ohio State game on Oct. 17 will kick at 8 p.m. on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
The game will be the first meeting between the Nittany Lions and Bulls since 2007, a 45-24 Penn State win, and the second meeting overall. Buffalo won 10-0 in 1900.
