Three unanswered goals helped Penn State rally for a 3-2 victory over Lindenwood on Friday afternoon.
Meike Meilleur got the Nittany Lions’ rally started with 8:30 to go in the second period. Irene Kiroplis and Kelly Seward earned assists on the play.
Katie McMillan’s goal 1:14 into the third period tied the game up at 2-2 with Amy Petersen and Laura Bowman picking up assists. Twelve minutes later, Bella Sutton gave Penn State a power-play goal and the eventual game winner.
The Nittany Lions improved to 4-1 in College Hockey America play and 5-6-2 overall.

Despite outshooting the Lions 18-10, Penn State trailed 2-0 through a period and a half. Lindenwood’s goals came from Britannia Gillanders in the first period and Kirsten Martin in the second.
