Penn State women’s hockey: Nittany Lions off to best start in program history

The Penn State women’s hockey team continued its strong start to the season Saturday afternoon.

Amy Petersen and Kelly Seward scored the goals in the Nittany Lions’ 2-2 tie with Union.

Hannah Ehresmann made 20 saves in the net for Penn State (2-2-2), which is off to the best start to a season in the three-year history of the program.

Laura Bowman and Bella Sutton had assists for the Nittany Lions. Rebecca Babiak and Kelly McGrath scored for the Dutchwomen.

Penn State returns home next weekend to host Princeton on Oct. 26.
