Penn State women’s hockey goalie Celine Whitlinger was selected as the College Hockey America Goaltender of the Month for January on Tuesday.
Whitlinger, who won the honor in December, went 4-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 in conference play in January. She recorded a 1.48 goals against average and .955 save percentage. She allowed nine goals and made an average of 32 saves for the month.
She earned Goaltender of the Week honors for Jan. 19 after leading the Nittany Lions to a sweep of RIT.
Penn State (14-10-4) takes on Lindenwood on the road Friday and Saturday.
