Penn State men’s soccer player Connor Maloney was called up to the U.S Under-23 National Team to train from Aug. 5-8 at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, Calif.
The junior forward is among 28 players, including five forwards, at the camp.
Maloney finished a stellar sophomore season for the Nittany Lions. He led the team in points (23), goals (10) and game-winning goals (5), and was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year.
