Reigning 125-pound NCAA champion and former Penn State wrestler, Nico Megaludis took his talents to Paris on Saturday.
Megaludis earned his second gold medal in his young freestyle career. He topped Italy’s Givi Davidovi 3-2.
Megaludis used a 9-0 shutout of Belarus’ Dzimchyk Rynchynau in the semifinals. He opened the tournament with a 10-0 technical fall of France’s Youssoup Deliev.
In November, Megaludis captured his first gold medal in the Bill Farrell International in New York City.
