Penn State senior David Taylor was named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday.
Taylor, picking up the award for the second time this seasson and third time in his career, earned two bonus-point wins last weekend in a pair of victories for the No. 1 Nittany Lions.
The nation’s top-ranked wrestler at 165 pounds pinned No. 13 Ramon Santiago of Rider and scored a 20-7 major decision over Lehigh’s Brian Brill. The win over Brill was Taylor’s 100th career bonus-point victory.
