Former Penn State wrestler Andrew Alton was named an assistant coach on the Franklin and Marshall staff on Friday.
Alton will help run all aspects of the program from recruiting, scheduling practice plans and assisting with technique. His main focus will be to develop the lighter to middle weight classes.
“The coaching staff is excited to bring someone like Andrew Alton into the program,” head coach Mike Rogers said. “Andrew has trained under one of the best programs in the country at Penn State and his experience in competing in the Big Ten will be a valuable resource for us.”
