Penn State wrestling: Nittany Lions second in USA Today/NWCA Poll

The National Wrestling Coaches Association released its USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll on Tuesday, and its the first poll where Penn State isn’t at the top.

Penn State came in No. 2 behind Oklahoma State.

The Cowboys received 10 of a possible 12 votes, the Nittany Lions grabbed one and No. 3 Michigan took the other. Iowa and Ohio State round out the top 5 at No. 4 and No.5, respectively.

The Big Ten has nine of a possible 14 schools in the rankings. Nebraska (No. 10), Illinois (No. 11), Wisconsin (No. 15), Minnesota (No. 17) and Rutgers (No. 18) joined the list for the conference.
