Penns Valley graduate Cameron Tobias threw his first touchdown pass of the year in Lock Haven’s first football victory of the season Saturday.
Tobias tossed a 22-yard scoring pass in the third quarter of the Eagles’ 62-0 romp over Cheyney. The redshirt junior completed 3 of 6 passes for 63 yards, an interception and a score in the game.
For the season he is 46 for 81 for 497 yards with the one touchdown and eight interceptions. He also has averaged 32.43 yards on seven punts and has a pair of solo tackles. Lock Haven is 1-5.
Nick Gray (Philipsburg-Osceola, Juniata) has 13 solo tackles and five assists, one sack for minus-8 yards, a fumble forced, a fumble recovered and one interception returned for 59 yards.
Austin Peck (State College, Juniata) saw playing time in Saturday’s 42-35 loss to Gettysburg that dropped the Eagles to 2-4.
Peyton Edwards (State College, Juniata) has 15 solo tackles and eight assists, two sacks for minus-7 yards, four tackles for loss for minus-17 yards, two fumbles forced and a pass broken up.
Aaron Boumerhi (P-O, Temple) leads the Owls in scoring with 26 points on seven field goals and five PATs. Temple beat American 34-10 to improve to 3-3.
Kahsim Buey (State College native, Lock Haven) has two receptions for 13 yards and a solo tackle.
Bryan Greene (BEA, Lock Haven) has caught 17 passes for 163 yards and carried the ball four times for 13 yards. He had two catches for 26 yards against Cheyney.
Nick Boumerhi (P-O, Lock Haven) kicked eight PATs against Cheyney and has made 4 of 9 field goal attempts on the season as well as 11 PATs for 23 points, which ranks second on the team.
Taylor Collison (Penns Valley, Franklin & Marshall) has carried 10 times for 125 yards and a touchdown. F&M lost its first game of the season Saturday, falling to Johns Hopkins 45-7 to fall to 5-1.
Jon Seighman (State College, Lehigh) has 14 solo tackles, three assists and an interception. Lehigh beat Colgate 41-38 for its first win of the year against five losses.

Emma Federinko (Penns Valley, Misericordia) was 27th at the DeSales Invitational with a time of 24:46. Misericordia was fourth out of 22 teams.
Payton Guelich (P-O, PSU-Altoona) fired two rounds of 80 for a 160 total to tie for 17th, and help Altoona to a third-place team finish at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships on Sunday and Monday.
