Bellefonte's Sinclair leads District 6 golf

STATE COLLEGE — Bellefonte's Alyssa Sinclair was the only golfer to break 80 as she led all participants in the District 6 Girls' Golf Championship at the Penn State White Course.

State College leads the Class AAA team race with a 359 total, while Bellefonte (383) and Hollidaysburg (401) follow. Bishop McCort (420) leads Forest Hills (480) in Class AA.

Sinclair fired a 78 and leads State College's Jessalynn Holdcroft and Hollidaysburg's Marissa Rosensteel by six strokes heading into today's final round. St. Joseph's Christian Academy's Kinsley Bonfilio is fourth overall after an 85.

Other scorers for State College were: Kelly Rehill (86), Jayne Wilson (94) and Karli Nolan (95). Kaitlyn Vogel added a 91 for the Lady Raiders. Philipsburg-Osceola's Jessica Burns shot a 104.
