The skinny: Philipsburg-Osceola suffered some major losses in the middle of its lineup, as Walstrom, Smith and Jeff Thompson combined for 109 wins and 49 pins last season. The trio helped P-O reach the District 6 Class AAA team duals semifinals for the first

time since 2003. McCamley said the weights will be covered with quality wrestlers because Greenawalt is bigger and Prentice is smaller. … Chris Thompson, who started last season 24-0, Descavish and Lumadue came within one victory of qualifying for the Northwest Regional tournament. ... Filling the heavyweight spot is one of the program’s biggest concerns. ... Central Mountain handed P-O two of its three losses last season. The Mounties had an 11-match winning streak before encountering the Wildcats in the district semifinals.

Coach McCamley says: “They came in and set the goals and bar pretty high for us. These guys have some lofty goals this year. I think that’s the work ethic passed on from last year’s group. They are working really hard.”
