High school boys’ basketball: Central Mountain edges State College

State College led with 45 seconds left in the fourth quarter, but wasn’t able to close the deal, as the Little Lions fell to Central Mountain 72-69 on Friday.

Despite the loss, the Little Lions played a tough game after being down 12 points at the half.

Bryan Sekunda led the scoring for State College, finishing with 24 points, including five 3-pointers, while Jason Costa chipped in 13 points and three 3-pointers.

Kyle Kanaskie and Mike Beattie also netted 3-pointers for the Little Lions and added nine and seven points, respectivley.
