Coach Gonder says: “I hope we keep getting better and keep getting more confident. That’s always our goal. If we keep getting better, I feel we can go far. ... Our kids are confident, but they’re also realistic. They’re confident in their abilities, but they’re also realistic that there are a lot of good teams. ... When Kate is pitching, we feel confident that she’s not going to give up a lot of runs.”
