Mifflinburg hit the ball well and took advantage of some tough times by the Bald Eagle Area defense for an 8-3 win Monday.
The Lady Eagles (5-4) made four errors — three on one play — to assist the Wildcats’ victory.
McKenzie Noll and Kelsey Crabb each had two hits, Kayla Kline opened the game with a double and Ally Lloyd also doubled while striking out eight, walking three and allowing four hits in the complete-game win.
Mallory Bennett ripped a two-run triple in BEA’s three-run sixth inning. Makennah Dyke started and took the loss, with relief help from Megan Dudish.
