Philipsburg-Osceola suffered through a rough night Friday, falling 90-32 to Tyrone.
The worst stretch of the evening came in the second quarter, when the Eagles outscored the Mounties 34-1
“That’s where the wheels fell off the wagon — the whole wagon fell apart,” P-O coach Dave McKnight said. “We came out and played well in the first quarter. They’re working hard and improving. We played better and were able to handle the ball, and then we got sloppy.”
Jordan Miller’s 23 points and Brandon Gripp’s 13 points led Tyrone (3-0).
