Penns Valley recovered from a slow start, but could not complete the comeback in a 40-36 loss to Central in a Mountain League contest Thursday night.
The Dragons led 25-13 at halftime before pulling to within a bucket in the fourth quarter.
“We had a slow start, but we picked it up in the second half,” Lady Rams coach Andrea Borland said. “We got to within two and then we couldn’t make a bucket. We had a lot of opportunities but we couldn’t get one to fall.”
