Penns Valley won a tri-meet Tuesday, beating Bellefonte 23-32 and Clearfield 29-38.
Bellefonte topped Clearfield 17-41.
Penns Valley’s Nick Fuller and Adam Mothersbaugh finished first and second with times of 17:51 and 17:57, respectively. Chris Colwell (fourth, 18:31) and Keith Griffith (sixth, 18:56) gave the Rams four of the top six finishers.
“We knew it would be our toughest dual meet, and the boys rose to the challenge,” Penns Valley coach Terry Glunt said.
Bellefonte’s top finishers included: Mike O’Donnell (third, 18:21), Josiah Stickles (fifth), Matt Dabiero (seventh), Ethan Diefenbach (ninth) and Ian Marshall (10th).
