High school boys’ cross country: Bellefonte finishes third in Pittsburgh

Mike O’Donnell took third place to lead Bellefonte to third among 10 teams in the “B Race” at the Pittsburgh Central Catholic Invitational on Saturday.

O’Donnell ran the 3.1-mile course in 17 minutes, 47 seconds in a division that featured 75 runners. Josiah Stickles (14th, 18:21), Matt Dabieo (16th, 18:27), Mitchell Pensak (30th, 19:36) and Ethan Diefenbach (41, 20:03) rounded out the Red Raider scoring.

Riley Lamison (17:29) won the division and led Beaver (51 points) to the team crown. Bellefonte had 98 points.
