With five different players finding the scoring column, the State College girls’ soccer team knocked off Carlisle 3-0 Thursday afternoon at South Track Field.

With goals from Saede Eifrig, Haley Crawford and Kacy Mann, and assists from Lauren Anderson and Payton Porter, the Lady Little Lions (9-5-1, 8-4-1 Mid Penn) prevailed with help from a 22-7 shot advantage.

Cailtyn Fosnacht made four saves for the shutout.

“Getting a win today was important for seedings for districts. We got off to a slow start this season so finishing strong is going to be important,” coach Kevin Morooney said. “It’s a good sign that we continued to get scoring production from different players again this game. It’s a sign of everyone sticking with their roles.”
