St, Joesph’s Catholic Academy dropped its seventh straight game as the Wolves fell 42-12 at Line Mountain on Friday.
Line Mountain (4-4) rushed for 237 yards, while holding St. Joseph’s to minus-39 yards on the ground.
The Eagles rolled to a 27-0 lead at the half and scored the game’s first 42 points. Kenny Boyer rushed for three touchdowns in the first half, scoring on runs of 5, 1 and 6 yards. Quarterback Ryan Reed delivered the home run with a 55-yard touchdown burst.
The third quarter didn’t open any better for the Wolves, who gave up a safety. Reed later bolted 39 yards to make it 36-0.

Line Mountain concluded its scoring with reserve quarterback Kurt Mace throwing 39 yards to David Quinn.
The Wolves finally got on the scoreboard through the air. Mike Kresovich tossed a 40-yard pass to Charlie Ross to make it 40-6. The two connected again from five yards out for the game’s final score.
Kresovich finished 12 of 23 for 153 yards. Ross was his favorite target, catching nine passes for 158 yards.
Reed had five carries for 105 yards and completed 4 of 8 passes for 64 yards for Line Mountain. Boyer rushed for 103 yards on 20 carries.
St. Joseph’s plays host to Marion Center (2-6) at 7 p.m. on Friday at Bishop Guilfoyle.
