Kiara Boughton and Allison Rossman made penalty kicks as Centre County Christian Academy concluded its season a 3-2 victory over Grace Prep on Thursday.
The contest was tied 2-2 after regulation and the two teams agreed to go to penalty kicks instead of playing overtime. Each team selected five shooters, with Grace Prep shooting first. Molly Bosak was the lone player to score for the Lady Storm. Rossman and Boughton clinched it for the Lady Bulldogs.
Grace Prep led 2-1 at the half behind goals from Bosak and Emma Narber. Boughton had CCCA’s goal. Rossman scored two minutes into the second half to tie it.
Mary Boggie had four saves for the Lady Bulldogs (10-9). Larryssa Tricou had two for the Lady Storm.
