The State College boys’ indoor track team’s had two first-place finishes in its meet at the Dickinson College High School Invitational on Saturday.
Eric Heatwole, Nick Feffer, Matt Beyerle and Alex Milligan finished in 8 minutes, 41.06 seconds to win the 4x800 relay, and Beyerle won the 3,200-meter with a time of 10:11.3.
Kellin Valentine finished second in the long jump (22-1/2), and the 4x400 relay team of Heatwole, Feffer, Milligan and Jacob Witt took second (3:43.96). Owen Wing finished second in the 3,200 (10:22.0).
Griffin Thompson was fourth in the pole vault (12-9), while Max Herbst took fifth in the 55-meter dash (6.72).
Noah Woods took seventh in the 200-meter (24.22), while Tristan Daman finished ninth (24.33). Rob Brant and Nate McMahon were seventh (11-3) and ninth (10-3) in the pole vault, respectively. Bryan Quinn was seventh in the 1,600-meter (4:56.28), Erik Ebel was seventh in the shot put (43-4) and Nick Bodner was eighth in the high jump (5-4).
