High school girls basketball: State College routs Mifflin County

Kyla Irwin scored a game-high 26 points to lead State College to a 74-41 victory over Mifflin County on Tuesday.

Four Lady Little Lions scored in double figures. In addition to Irwin’s 26 points, Ali Treglia had 15 points, Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh accounted for 12, and Maggie Hurley netted 10.

“It was a great balance in scoring for everyone,” State College coach Bethany Irwin said.

Jessa Wright led Mifflin County with 15 points.

State College (5-2) will play North Schuylkill in the State College Kiwanis Holiday tournament Monday at 6 p.m.
