State College’s Alex Milligan and Kellin Valentine each won individual events at the State College Track and Field Invitational on Thursday.
Milligan finished first in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.3, while Valentine took first in the long jump with a distance of 23 feet, 1 1/2 inches. The Little Lions’ team of Tristan Daman, Max Herbst, Noah Woods and Valentine won the 4x200-meter relay in 1:32.8.
Other top finishers for State College included: Daman (second in the 60, 7.0; second in the 200, 22.8); Herbst (fourth in the 60, 7.1); Woods (second in the 400, 53.2); Tony Degleris (third in the 800, 2:05.8); Nick Feffer (fourth in the 800, 2:06.9); Bryan Quinn (third in the mile, 4:47.7); Owen Wing (fourth in the 3,000, 9:35.3); and Erik Ebel (third in the shot put, 45-11.25).
St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy’s Brian Hackman was second in the 800 (2:00.7), and Penns Valley’s Collin Egelhoff finished fourth in the shot put (44-11.5).
