Bellefonte held a 27-point lead at halftime of its 68-41 Mountain League victory over Philipsburg-Osceola on Friday.
“Our kids came out and responded well,” Red Raiders coach Darin Hazel said. “I thought Danny Caprio played his best game of the year. It was a good team effort tonight.”
Caprio had 16 points to add to team leader Trent Fortney’s 18. Bellefonte shot 24 of 46 from the foul line.
Trentin Herrington led the Mounties with 15 points.
