High school boys basketball: State College finishes strong in close win over Central Dauphin East

Alex McCann and Cody Kubicki powered State College in the fourth quarter of its 60-55 win over Central Dauphin East on Tuesday.

The Little Lions trailed 41-40 heading into the final period. McCann scored eight points and Kubicki had nine as State College pulled away for the win.

Drew Friberg paced State College with 14 points, and McCann finished with 12.

Central Dauphin East’s Dwight Whitlock scored a game-high 30 points.
