It didn’t look good for Grace Prep heading into halftime.
The next 16 minutes were quite fruitful for the Storm (6-6) who were able to overcome a 14-point deficit to beat Sunbury Christian 53-45 on Friday.
“They just stepped up their defense and played great, relentless man-to-man defense and stayed really agressive,” Grace Prep coach Dave Gindhart said.
Sunbury Christian (8-12) suffered as a result, netting just 15 points over the final two quarters. Grace Prep dropped 22 points in the fourth quarter alone. Alex Zubler led the Storm with 14 points and Patrick Cooper chipped in 12.
