A strong start, balanced effort and strong performance from its best shooter was the perfect recipe for State College as the Lady Little Lions hammered Hollidaysburg 66-36 on Wednesday.
Kyla Irwin dropped 25 points on the Golden Tigers (11-5) and helped State College (15-7) end the regular season on a high note. A nice all-around effort from senior Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh helped, too. Shelton-Burleigh finished with 12 points.
“I think Burleigh had one of her best games tonight,” State College coach Bethany Irwin said. “We had such a good balance tonight.”
