High school boys basketball: Central Mountain rolls past Bellefonte

The Bellefonte boys’ basketball team couldn’t contain Central Mountain in a 69-44 loss Tuesday.

Alex Garbrick paced the Wildcats with 20 points and Wes Jolly added 17. Central Mountain built an 18-point halftime lead.

“We got to get back to the basics on the defensive end,” Bellefonte coach Darin Hazel said. “They really took advantage of that.”

Trent Fortney scored 16 points to lead the Red Raiders.

Bellefonte (8-14) will continue its season in the District 6 Class AAA tournament. The bracket will be announced Thursday.
