High school baseball: St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy routs Penns Manor

A seven-run seventh inning helped Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy to a 10-1 victory over Penns Manor on Monday.

St. Joe’s pitcher Phil Fenstermacker posted 10 strikeouts and two walks in seven innings. The offense was led by Peter Forstmeir’s 4-for-5 showing with a pair of RBIs. Fenstermacker and Trevor Bulick stroked doubles.

“We had excellent pitching and timely hitting.” Wolves coach Troy Allen said.

The Wolves (2-1) will travel to Juniata on Thursday.
