High school baseball: Mifflin County hammers State College

State College managed just two hits in an 11-0 loss to Mifflin County in five innings Tuesday.

The Huskies took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and broke through for eight runs in the third. State College pitchers combined to allow seven walks and seven hits, and the Little Lions committed three errors. Kyle Peterson pitched two innings to take the loss, allowing two runs and three walks while striking out three.

Mifflin County’s Ross Torquato struck out two and walked two in five innings to earn the win.

State College plays at Red Land on Thursday.
