The State College boys’ track and field team picked up the Jack Roddick Invitational title on Saturday at Shippensburg University.
The Little Lions finished with 66.5 points to edge Carlisle, which had 62. Central Dauphin East, Chambersburg and Williamsport finished off the top 5, respectively.
The 4x100 and 4x800 relay teams sparked the day for State College by both recording first-place finishes. The 4x100 team had a time of 42.66 seconds while the 4x800 clocked in at 8:04.57.
Kellin Valentine also picked up a win for the Little Lions in the long jump at 22-07.75. Tristan Daman had a second-place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.11 seconds.
