High school boys’ lacrosse: State College jumps out to lead, hangs on to beat Upper St. Clair

State College built a six-goal halftime lead and held off Upper St. Clair for a 12-9 win on Saturday.

Will Harvey scored four goals and Brady Franks had three goals to lead the Little Lions, who led 8-2 at the break. State College’s PJ Bachman recorded two goals and three assists, and Jon Seighman had two goals and an assist.

Noah Schwab made 16 saves for the Little Lions.

State College (8-5) plays at Trinity on Monday.
