High school baseball: Philipsburg-Osceola holds down St. Joseph’s

Gage Coudriet had a strong relief effort on the mound to help Philipsburg-Osceola rally past St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy 6-5 Tuesday.

Coudriet gave up just one run and three hits in 6 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win.

The Mounties’ offense was paced by Tanner Lamb’s 2-for-3 day with a triple, Derek Shaw was 2-for-2 with a double and Josh Earnest knocked in three runs.

Trevor Bulick was 2-for-2 with a double, and Dillon Roettger doubled and knocked in three runs as the Wolves raced ahead with a 4-run first inning.
