High school boys’ track and field: State College edges Chambersburg

Noah Woods was a double winner as State College edged Chambersburg 79.5-70.5 Tuesday afternoon to close the regular season schedule.

Woods sprinted to wins in the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.1 and 22.3 seconds, respectively.

The Little Lions also picked up wins from Matt Beyerle (1,600), Josh Rickley (400), Tyler Smith (300 hurdles), Joey Feffer (800), Ryan Matviichuk (triple jump), Griffin Thompson (pole vault) and the 1,600 relay team of Rickley, Eric Heatwole, Anthony Degleris and Nick Feffer.

State College gets started on the postseason schedule with the Mid Penn Conference Championships at Chambersburg on Saturday.
