High school girls lacrosse: State College cruises past Danville

Brielle Curtis scored five goals to lead the State College girls’ lacrosse team to a 14-3 win over Danville on Friday.

Renee Olivett added three goals for the Lady Little Lions, who built a 7-0 halftime lead. Maddie Czekaj and Brooke Shaffer each scored two goals, Sam Washell had two assists and Erika Lose recorded a goal and an assist.

State College’s Olivia Stahl also notched a goal.

Jackie Snedden made five saves for the Lady Little Lions (12-4).
