Austin Krise scored four goals for Philipsburg-Osceola as the Mounties edged Tyrone 4-3 in double overtime Wednesday.
Tyrone’s Noah D’Angelo scored three goals.
Krise found the back of the net for the third time at the 32:17 mark, and Philipsburg-Osceola (5-3-2) led 3-2 at halftime. D’Angelo tied it with a goal at the 49:47 mark.
Krise has 18 goals this season and ranks fourth in school history with 45 goals in his career. He needs four goals to tie Adam Coble (49) for second all-time. Ryan Coble is the Mounties’ all-time leading scorer with 90 goals.
“Austin is in extremely rarefied air right now,” Philipsburg-Osceola coach Shawn Inlow said.
