Bald Eagle Area finished a regular-season sweep and inched closer to the Mountain League crown with a sweep of Philipsburg-Osceola on Thursday night.
After struggling to a four-set win earlier in the season, BEA held control most of the night Thursday for the 25-20, 25-17, 25-15 victory.
Vee Skripek’s double-double of 10 kills and 16 digs, and Katie Flick’s eight kills and 10 digs, paced the Lady Eagles (12-2, 11-0). Madi Hahn ran the offense with 21 assists and Regan Dyke served up six aces.
Mollie MaGuire’s seven kills and seven blocks led the Lady Mounties (17-5, 8-2), while Sadie Granville posted 20 digs and four aces. Hannah Shimmel put down eight kills, Kylie Thal collected 13 digs and the offense was run by 13 assists from Annie Kost and eight from Hannah Thompson.

BEA can clinch at least a share of the regular-season title by beating Central on Tuesday.
