High school boys’ soccer: State College handles Altoona

State College exploded for four second-half goals as the Little Lions throttled Altoona 5-0 on Saturday.

The Little Lions benefited early from a first-half own goal in the fourth minute, and while they didn’t score for the rest of the half, State College made up for it in a big way.

Cam Wilson, assisted Noah Osterling, notched a goal in the 52nd minute, followed closely by a 54th-minute goal by Craig Hilliard, assisted by Jake Kunes. Shortly after in the 55th minute, Jacob Pammer scored on a penalty kick.

For good measure, State College added another as Ben Osterling was assisted by Yannick Arienbuwa.

The Little Lions finished with 22 shots and four corner kickss, while goalkeepers Nate Barlock and Zack Donohue combined for three saves.
